What is DVA Community Nursing?

DVA Community Nursing is a government-funded program designed to provide eligible veterans and war widows with access to a range of clinical and personal care services at home. Delivered by accredited providers like Carespace, it allows you to receive skilled nursing care tailored to your specific health needs, helping you to live independently and maintain your quality of life.

Our DVA Community Nursing services include, but are not limited to:

Clinical Nursing Care: Professional in-home medical services including wound care, medication management, continence support, and chronic disease management.

Health Monitoring and Assessment: Regular assessments of your health status to manage symptoms, prevent complications, and coordinate with your GP and other specialists.

Client and Carer Education: Providing you and your family with the information, resources, and support needed to understand and manage your health conditions effectively.

Personal Care Support: Respectful assistance with daily living activities such as hygiene, grooming, and mobility, helping you to maintain your independence and well-being.
